Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Director, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for assuring the drug therapy needs of the patient are met. There are five major areas of responsibility for the staff/clinical pharmacist. clinical pharmacy, drug distribution, teaching, administrative duties and conducting research. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
Familiar with unit dose, IV admixtures, computer skills, technical and clinical pharmacy practice. Must be self-directed and have excellent communication skills. Must also have hospital experience, not just retail.
