Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform radiographs as requested by physicians. Adjusts technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation. Follows radiation safety practices. Assumes temporary responsibility for the patient in x-ray. Operates portable equipment, operates C-arm, transports patients, uses the hospital computer system and PACS system. and performs clerical tasks. Performs services meeting the psycho-social needs of the population being serve. Must perform CT scan. 8-12-hour shifts across days, evenings, or overnights.
