Job Details
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
OB, abdomen limited/complete, renal, scrotum, elastography, pelvic, soft tissue neck, small parts non-vascular. Venous leg, carotids, AAA and breast are a plus but not required
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
We operate on Client E9 and E10, with Epic charting and Sectra pacs for image storage.
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
3-5 years
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
RDMS, RVT and ND State licensing. BLS is also required.
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Day shift. Tech may work alone due to illness or vacation requests. There is no call or weekends.
Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
No floating is required.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
This is a clinical site with 2 ultrasound rooms.
Dress Code: Grey scrubs
Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
Orientation will be provided that is standard for all temporary staff. Our department will train you how to use Epic charting system and the radiant workflow as well as the use of any other applications required to complete your work.
Additional Comments:
We are a small ultrasound department in rural ND. Staff are close knit and friendly. Easy to work with.
We have a very strong OB practice.
