Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:45 - 18:15)

Description:

UNIT DETAILS: Hospital-based Outpatient Lymphedema patient population. Located at our Outpatient rehab dept. Work with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs and SLP on a regular basis along wound care clinic. Also work with compression fitter and lymphedema vendors that support the lymphedema patient population. Will be expected to work with young/middle adults to geriatrics, mix of diagnoses including patients requiring lymphedema care. Check out our center location @ Piedmontwellnesscenter.com

SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday 9:45am – 6:15 pm / Tuesday, Thursday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm/ Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm
WILL CONSIDER SCHEDULE OPTION: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 5:00, Friday 7:30 am – 12 noon
WEEKEND: None
CALL: None
FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice to Piedmont Fayette (Acute Care Inpatient facility) as needed - hospital is 1 mile from Outpatient
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year - Unit accepts first time travelers
REQUIRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, OT must be certified in lymphedema, licensed in the state of Georgia (IN HAND), Outpatient experience & EPIC
PREFERRED SKILLS: Acute Inpatient experience

AYA OFFER: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines meets specific facility requirements.

RTO: MAX 7 days

HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

New Years Eve/New Years Day

COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
