Required skills: Adult OT, Activities of daily living, Cardiac rehab, Edema massage, Feeding techniques, Splinting, TENS, Ultrasound, Ortho, Prosthetics/Orthotics, Standardized assessment, Joint mobilization, Home Exercise Program, Lifting and transfer, Patient/Family Education, Safety and injury prevention, Telephone calls. Evaluation tools, Billing/Documentation
Must have home health experience; OASIS training preferred
Certs required: BLS, state licensed
Scrubs: Any solid color scrub
Unit Info (share with your traveler):
Patients: med/surg, cardiac, ortho, hips/knees/shoulders, post-surgical, copd, chf, pneumonia, CVA, Falls, weakness, parkinson's, failure to thrive, resp patients, neuro, trachs, trauma, AKA, BKA, ADL'S
Skilled Home Care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Commercial ins.)
Home skilled visits - 6-8 per day (MINIMUM of 6 points per day at managers discretion may increase by 1 point)
Laptop, MiFi for internet access, Portable printers
BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, Ace Timesheet documentation system
Other requirements:
1 year experience required, 2 preferred (must be independent practitioner)
Must have valid drivers license and car to make home visits.
Must be COVID vaccinated or with exemption form on file.
Must have flu shot or declination and in both cases mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work.
Based on the needs of the HomeCare office, the visits and hours will be self-scheduled
Pay Rate
$54.94 - $59.82/hour
