OR Tech-Obstetrical Technicians function as members of a team dedicated to support the highest quality care and service to our patients, physicians and other associates. As an integral part of the team the Obstetrical Technician is responsible to scrub for and assist in various types of surgical procedures and provides the necessary instrumentation, supplies and equipment for operations. The Obstetrical Technician assists in nursing care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
It supports the (L&D) department and is essential for ensuring safe patient care and meeting the daily needs of the unit. The Certified Surgical Technician performs the duties of a scrub technician, provides direct patient care, and stocks the operating rooms, labor rooms, triage, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
Pay Rate
$51.29 - $54.49/hour
