OR TECHS MUST HOLD A CST OR MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS:
The tech must have one of the following:
1 Completed an accredited surg tech program and be certified by NBSTSA or
2 Completed a Military program AND 16 hours of CEUs every two years
There is a grandfather clause for those that have worked during AT LEAST 2 years between 01/01/2014 and 01/01/2017 AND 16 hours of CEUs every two years.
Scrub Tech - does not require a certification - If tech received on the job training they must have completed their training by 7/2014 to be eligible for a position in Oregon (this is a state regulation)

Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Available as resource 24/7
Shifts & Scheduling 6a-6p/6p-6a 36 hours guaranteed per week
Weeknight/Call Requirement No
Weekend/Call Requirement No
Holiday/Call Requirement No
Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement? Yes 1 12 hour shift per 4 week schedule
What is call response time? 20 minutes
