About the Opportunity
Benchmark Therapies is looking for a compassionate, patient-focused Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment at Westminster Village, a highly rated senior living community in Dover, DE.
This short-term assignment is perfect for an SLP who enjoys working with older adults, thrives in a supportive environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact while experiencing patients across skilled nursing, personal care and independent living care settings. Are caseload is growing and we're looking for additional speech therapy support for our current full-time SLP.
What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and treatments for residents
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that improve mobility, safety, and overall quality of life
Collaborate closely with an experienced rehab team, nursing staff, and other healthcare partners
Document services using Net Health (training available if needed)
Support a positive, resident-centered culture within the therapy department
What We’re Looking For
DE SLP license in good standing
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience in senior care
A flexible, compassionate, and professional approach to care
Two-step PPD or TB skin test within 30 days of start date
CPR certification through The American Heart Association or The Red Cross
Covid vaccination records or exemption
