Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, or swallowing disorders. The SLP will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans and improve communication and swallowing abilities, enhancing overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs

  • Provide therapy to improve communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home exercises

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary

  • Utilize evidence-based practices and stay updated on advancements in speech-language pathology

  • Foster a positive, supportive, and patient-centered therapeutic environment

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Experience in clinical, rehabilitation, or educational settings preferred

  • Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach with commitment to high-quality care

Pay Rate
$16.50 - $16.50/hour
