Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, or swallowing disorders. The SLP will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans and improve communication and swallowing abilities, enhancing overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs

Provide therapy to improve communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home exercises

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries

Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary

Utilize evidence-based practices and stay updated on advancements in speech-language pathology

Foster a positive, supportive, and patient-centered therapeutic environment
Qualifications:

Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

Experience in clinical, rehabilitation, or educational settings preferred

Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Pay Rate
$16.50 - $16.50/hour
