Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Perm Position)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a permanent basis. The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. This role involves working closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to help individuals improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication skills, as well as swallowing function, to enhance overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of varying ages.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified communication and swallowing needs.

Provide therapy using evidence-based techniques to improve articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication skills.

Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress at home.

Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and track outcomes.

Participate in team meetings, care planning, and professional development activities.

Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology practices, research, and technology.

Promote a supportive, patient-centered environment focused on recovery and communication improvement.
Qualifications:

Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

Prior clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Pay Rate
$16.50 - $16.50/hour
