Job Details
| Duties: | Specific responsibilities may include: Manage escalation line calls related to policy and procedure on site, offer guidance to sites on issues and when needed escalate issues up the chain of command Manage call out line, help find coverage for call outs Provide on-going oversight of key workstreams within new programs/initiatives Manage all aspects of project lifecycles for assigned workstreams including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Ensure smooth daily operations at all sites through management of program staff and coordination for all critical escalations in a timely manner. Provide strategic direction in management of the program budget and any/all changes to program services and/or workflows Provide oversight of on-site work to ensure continuous operations and compliance with applicable policy and procedures. Support with invoice and budget reviews and quality assurance testing of contracted work products. As required, manage a team of Project Managers and/or Operational Leads. Manage relationships with various NYC Health Hospitals departments, City agencies, and contracted vendors. Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership. Support leadership by ensuring they have all necessary operational and administrative tools and by proactively escalating high priority issues and risks for their review as appropriate. | Skills: | · Candidate must be reliable for independent work, be able to lead change as part of a collaborative team · Ability to develop and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with a variety of individuals, groups, and organizations; · Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including ability to tailor technical material to a variety of audiences (e.g., administrative and technical leaders; front-line staff); · Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, transparency and accountability in all work product; · Keen attention to detail, flexibility and an enthusiastic work ethic; Fluency in languages other than English, particularly Spanish Experience managing a team Experience managing multiple external contractors/vendors strongly preferred Experience with community engagement and/or familiarity with local community service providers/non-profits strongly preferred Strong excel skills or experience with data visualization required. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, transparency and accountability in all work product. NYC area residency preferred. 5 or more years of Program/Project management experience.
