Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across acute, critical, and chronic care settings. The RRT will assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, administer respiratory therapies, manage ventilators, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and evaluate patient pulmonary status
• Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and non-invasive respiratory support
• Assist with airway management, including intubation and extubation support
• Conduct diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests, and pulse oximetry
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response and code teams
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment use
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant respiratory care documentation
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and respiratory care protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• State respiratory therapy license as required
• Experience in acute care, ICU, or hospital-based respiratory therapy preferred
• Proficiency in ventilator management and airway care
• BLS required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred based on patient population
Pay Rate
$51.48 - $56.36/hour
