Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (Psych) to provide high-quality mental health nursing care to patients with behavioral or psychiatric conditions. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor safety, and support therapeutic treatment plans while working closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote stabilization and recovery.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric conditions.

Conduct mental health assessments, monitor vital signs, and document observations accurately.

Administer medications and therapeutic treatments safely and per provider orders.

Assist in crisis intervention, utilize de-escalation techniques, and promote a safe therapeutic environment.

Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare staff to coordinate individualized care plans.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and coping strategies.

Maintain clear, timely documentation and support continuity of care.
Qualifications:

Current RN license (active and unrestricted).

Experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, or mental health nursing preferred.

Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, psychotropic medications, and crisis intervention.

BLS certification required.

Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills.

Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work effectively in a dynamic behavioral health environment.
Pay Rate
$51.91 - $55.11/hour
