Job Description: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and venipuncture/phlebotomy.
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring skills.
Experience caring for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with telemetry or step-down patient populations.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).

Required Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certifications & Licensure

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure

AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (required for Queens location; preferred otherwise).

Pay Rate
$63.70 - $68.58/hour
