Job Details
• RN to patient ratio – 1:4, ranging from young adult to geriatric • Monitoring patients with medical equipment such as catheters, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators and cardiac monitors • Care for patients transitioning out of the ICU requiring more care and attention than patients on a general medical-surgical unit • Frequent patient assessments and proper escalation of a patient’s change in medical condition • Responding to cardiac arrest and rapid response codes This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K [include any compulsory benefits such as commissions, incentive bonuses, etc. if applicable]. • Evidence of graduation from an accredited National League of Nursing School. Baccalaureate degree or satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience• Licensed to practice as a professional nurse in New York State• Two years of the following experience is required: Medical/Surgical SD or ICU experience, IV Insertion, phlebotomy and conscious sedation• BLS & ACLS certification• Demonstrates satisfactory completion of age specific competency
