Position: RN Emergency Room
Location: Nampa, ID, 83687
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP — must start no later than 12/01
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ER RN will assess, stabilize, and manage patients experiencing emergency medical conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role may include occasional floating to nearby ER units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care
- Perform triage, rapid assessment, and stabilization
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
- Assist with procedures and operate emergency equipment
- Accurately document patient care in EPIC
- Maintain strict compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health staff, and support personnel
- Float to Meridian and Boise ER sites if required (rare)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience (acute care)
- Active RN license (state-eligible)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC
- Strong triage and emergency response skills
- Available to work alternating weekends
Pay Rate
$50.56 - $53.76/hour
