Position: RN Emergency Room
Location: Albany, GA 31701
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care in an acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in emergency nursing, the ability to operate in fast-paced situations, and excellent assessment and triage skills. The ER RN will work collaboratively with physicians and hospital staff to deliver safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and critical conditions
Perform rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Support emergency interventions and life-saving procedures
Document all nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and hospital compliance standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience in an acute care setting
Active RN license (state requirements apply)
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
Proficiency with MEDITECH EMR preferred
Strong communication, critical-thinking, and emergency-response skills

Pay Rate
$54.22 - $57.42/hour
