Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide advanced critical care services in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients, monitor complex cardiovascular conditions, manage advanced life-support therapies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and titratable cardiac drips
• Manage patients with ventilators, invasive lines, and cardiac devices (e.g., IABP, CVADs)
• Provide post-operative care for cardiac and vascular surgery patients
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery expectations
• Adhere to patient safety standards, infection control policies, and clinical protocols


Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Nursing degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s required; BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent CVICU, CCU, or critical care experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, hemodynamics, and critical care interventions
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered critical care

Pay Rate
$74.19 - $79.07/hour
