Position Summary:
We are seeking Retail Pharmacists for PRN, part-time, and full-time positions. This role is essential in ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations, providing accurate medication dispensing, patient counseling, and compliance with regulatory standards. Pharmacists in this role will support pharmacy technicians, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescribed medications while ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Perform medication safety checks, verifying prescriptions for accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management and medication ordering.
• Help with prescription filling and shipping when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and regulatory-compliant pharmacy environment.
• Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in RPh specialization (Required).
• High School Diploma (Required).
○ Valid Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio (Required).
• 1 years of experience in multitasking within a fast-paced environment (Required).
• 1 years of experience in excellent time management (Required).
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting (Preferred).
• PhD/Doctorate Degree in PharmD specialization (Preferred).
• Master’s Degree in RPh specialization (Preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
