Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join an acute care facility in Ketchum, Idaho. This role requires a clinician capable of delivering comprehensive respiratory care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently, as there may be times they are the sole Respiratory Therapist onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective respiratory care in acute and emergency settings
- Support critical cases including Emergency Department patients and high-risk OB deliveries
- Administer therapies, medications, and ventilator support as prescribed
- Perform diagnostic procedures and respiratory assessments
- Document care accurately within Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Demonstrate independent clinical judgment and strong problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care environment
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Active Respiratory Therapy license for the state of Idaho
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE
- Ability to work independently and confidently in high-acuity scenarios
Pay Rate
$56.42 - $59.62/hour
