Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Adult & NICU (Night Shift)
Location: White Plains, NY
Shift Type: Night Shift
Hours per Day: 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Total Hours per Week: 34.5
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced respiratory care in the Adult and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). The ideal candidate will work night shifts, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy to adult and neonatal patients.
Perform assessments, initiate treatments, and monitor patient response.
Administer and manage oxygen therapy, ventilators, and other respiratory equipment. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and interventions. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety standards, and facility policies.
Requirements:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Adult or NICU respiratory care
Current BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications (AHA preferred)
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Flu vaccine required – no exemptions
Pay Rate
$57.88 - $61.08/hour
