Description:
Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility OhioHealth Grant, 111 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215 to be eligible to apply.
•NEED: RN Med/Surg Tele - Observation Unit
•LOCATION: Riverside Methodist Hospital
•SHIFT: Night shift, 3/12's, Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

Requirements:
•BLS
•Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently.
•Pertinent Unit Info: float requirements, call requirements, weekend requirements, ratio- first to float, every other weekend, no call, 1:5-6 nurse patient ratio. 60-bed semi-private rooms--med-surg with telemetry. Our goal is to have patients in and out within 24 hours, meaning we have a very fast paced environment. Patients are frequently going to tests/procedures and then (depending on results) either transferring to an inpatient unit or being discharged with a PCP follow up. We do care for patients with drips such as heparin, cardizem, ketamine. It is crucial to have someone with great communication skills, as they will need to be in continuous collaboration with the charge nurse as well as MedOne/COPC physician groups that remain on the unit around the clock.
