Position / Specialty: Med/Surg
*Call In Expectation: If a traveler calls in for a shift, they will be required to pick up another shift to make up for the call-in.*
Shit: 3x12 NIHGTS (1800-0630)
Weekend REQ: minimum 3 weekends in 6 week period. shift time 6p-6:30a
On-call REQ? Possibility of being placed on call.
Floating Requirements: Possibility of being floated depending on unit/hospital needs.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Ratios: 1:5
Years of experience REQ: 1 yr
First-timers accepted: Yes
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
Please Note: travelers cannot start without their PALS certificate. PALS is required for med surg RNs per Witham Health Services policy, as we admit pediatrics to this unit.
Locals accepted: Yes, travelers are considered local if they live within 50 miles radius of the hospital. If they are local, they will have a *** rate differential.
Special Requirements: Ambulatory, MS experience preferred. Tele experience REQUIRED.
