Shift: Nights, Either 3X12 or 4X12 is acceptable
Start date: 12/15 MUST BE DEC START DATE
Ratios: 1:1
Years of experience Req: Minimum 3 years labor and delivery trained.
First-timers accepted: Unit accepts first time travelers only if they have 3 years of L&D experience
Weekend Req: Yes – (Unless schedule posted says otherwise)
Certs Req: BLS and NRP required, AWHONN Intermediate preferred
Call Req: N/A
Floating within Hospital: Yes
Floating to sister Hospitals: No
Open to accommodating block schedule: No – unless posting states otherwise
Locals accepted: Yes
Pending License accepted: No
RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max, must work the holidays
Special Notes: This unit is responsible for adult women of childbearing age. It has 7 labor beds, 3 triage, 2 PACU and 16 mother-baby. Please call out if this traveler does not have Epic experience.
Guaranteed Hours:
In the event of low census Healthcare Providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in *** hour increments up to 1 shifts worth of hours in a 2 week cycle.
For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
