Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Description:

Will accept first time travelers

ON-CALL REQUIRED: About 8-10 shifts per month with one being a weekend

patient diagnoses:
Stroke, Cerebral vascular diseases/defects, Peripheral vascular disease, fistulas, line and drain placements DCA, Stroke interventions, fistulas, drains and lines, proceural sedation

special procedures:
Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care
RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation Drugs
Trach care, Vents
Drains, Wound Vac
Sheath Removal
Drains, Epidural Pumps, EVD/ICP
Feeding Tubes, Fistula, PCA Pumps
PICC/Central Lines, Port-A-Cath/Vasclar Device Access/Care, Syringe Pumps, Triple Lumen Catheter
Cath Lab Exp, CT, Endovascular Lab, Stent Placement, Ultrasound

special equipment:
REQUIRED: 3 years critical care experience, 1 year IR experience, Endovascular
Lab and Cath Lab experience, CT Ultrasound, Angio, patient recovery experience

HARD STOP REQUIREMENT - dedicated IR experience

certs required: ACLS & BCLS
skills required:Sheath removal,IV Start, Vents
float: yes, Cherry Hill floats to First Hill vascular IR
staffing ratio: 1:1
call required: yes
scrubs: provided for all procedure areas

All units that have on- call requirements require a 30-minute response time. It is outlined as a standard requirement in the unit description. All Swedish facilities with units that necessitate on-call coverage have a response time of 30 min from when the traveler is called in.
