Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care in a cardiac catheterization and interventional setting. The RN will support patients before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, assist physicians and technologists, monitor patient status, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care throughout the continuum.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures through assessments, IV access, patient education, and pre-procedure checks
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, vital signs, and patient responses during procedures
• Assist physicians with sterile techniques, equipment setup, contrast administration, and procedural support
• Administer medications and manage moderate sedation per protocol and provider direction
• Monitor patients during post-procedure recovery and identify potential complications
• Document assessments, interventions, medications, and procedural details accurately and timely
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, interventional cardiology, ICU, or telemetry preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, hemodynamics, and emergency response
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and technical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
Pay Rate
$81.81 - $86.69/hour
