Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every 4th Weekend
Holiday Requirement: Rotating Holidays

Job Summary:

Edward Hospital in Naperville is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Neuro ICU team. This role is ideal for a critical care nurse with strong clinical judgment, a calm approach under pressure, and a passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care in a high-acuity intensive care setting.

The RN will be responsible for managing critically ill patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions, ensuring safe, evidence-based care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Neuro ICU.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor and interpret cardiac, hemodynamic, and neurological data.
Administer medications and therapies according to physician orders and protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and recovery expectations.
Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN License in the State of Illinois.
Minimum 5 years of Critical Care experience required.
Demonstrated high-acuity experience in CV ICU or Neuro ICU.
Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.

Pay Rate
$34.68 - $55.80/hour
