Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Highland Park, IL
Shift: Eve 3x12-Hour 11a-11p
36hrs per week
Start Date: 11/09/2025
Job Type: 13-week Contract
Position Summary:
Detail: is more of a cardio hospital - elderly population. Lots of critical care and medically challenged patients.
Notes: Epic experience, no more than 3 days off, Must pass an EKG test first day at orientaion
Floating Requirements:Yes, rarely within service line and locations: Evanston, Glenbrook, Skokie, Highland Park
Weekend Requirements:1 holiday and every other weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
- Quickly assessing patient needs.
- Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
- Performing minor medical operations.
- Cleaning wounds.
- Drawing blood.
- Maintaining emergency room care standards.
- Assisting with insurance paperwork.
- Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
- Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
- IL RN license in hand
- ACLS. NIH Stroke, PALS, TNCC or TNS Epic experience
- 3 year RN ER experience
Pay Rate
$53.49 - $56.69/hour
