Radiology Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and follow established protocols while collaborating with radiologists and healthcare team members.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-ray procedures, in accordance with physician orders and clinical guidelines.
Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images while ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate radiographic equipment and adjust technical factors to achieve optimal image quality.
Follow radiation safety practices, including proper shielding and exposure-minimization techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and equipment logs.
Identify and report equipment issues or image quality concerns promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support efficient workflow and patient care.
Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment and comply with infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted state license or certification as a Radiology Technologist.
ARRT (R) certification required or preferred, as applicable.
Experience in diagnostic radiology or imaging services preferred.
Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and radiation safety principles.
Excellent communication, technical, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Pay Rate
$79.52 - $84.40/hour
