Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Radiology Tech)

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role is responsible for operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, ensuring image quality, and maintaining patient safety while delivering compassionate and professional care in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays in accordance with physician orders and protocols

  • Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

  • Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively

  • Ensure radiation safety practices and proper use of protective equipment

  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation

  • Review images for technical quality and accuracy before submission

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in EMR/PACS systems

  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active Radiologic Technologist license or certification (e.g., ARRT) as required by state or country

  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program

  • CPR/BLS certification required

  • Knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and imaging principles

  • Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
