Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional adult primary care services. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and perform routine procedures including physical exams and Pap smears. This position is best suited for professionals who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and maintain a high level of precision and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive physical exams with a strong emphasis on accuracy and professional standards
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based guidelines
– Perform routine procedures including Pap smears
– Counsel patients on preventive care and general wellness strategies
– Address urgent complaints in a primary care setting with swift clinical judgment
– Review lab results and clinical documents with attention to detail
– Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record system
– Manage an average of 2–2.4 patients per hour efficiently
– Exhibit professionalism and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies preferred
– Active Physician Assistant License in the State of Maryland
– High school diploma required
– Minimum of 1 year experience in primary care or adult care setting preferred
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
– Certified P.A. credentials preferred
– Strong patient communication and counseling skills
– Proficiency in handling EMR systems and clinical documentation
– Ability to manage time and multitask in high-volume environments
Schedule & Hours:
– Monday through Friday
– 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)
– 40 hours/week guaranteed
