Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient rehabilitation under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and help improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Responsibilities:

Carry out treatment programs and exercises designed by the Physical Therapist.

Instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic activities safely and effectively.

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the supervising therapist.

Assist with patient mobility training and use of assistive devices.

Maintain treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean and functional.

Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and preventive care strategies.

Promote patient safety, comfort, and motivation during therapy sessions.
Qualifications:

Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitation or physical therapy setting preferred.

Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, exercises, and modalities.

Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a therapy team.
Pay Rate
$33.72 - $36.92/hour
