Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support the delivery of rehabilitative care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, help patients improve mobility and function, and promote recovery through therapeutic exercises and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in carrying out individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.

  • Instruct and guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities.

  • Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist.

  • Provide support with mobility training, balance improvement, and use of assistive devices.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient responses.

  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and preventive care.

  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitation or therapy setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.

  • Ability to motivate patients and foster a positive therapeutic environment.

Pay Rate
$32.26 - $35.46/hour
