Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant to support the delivery of rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities to help improve strength, flexibility, and overall physical independence.

Responsibilities:

Carry out treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities.
Observe and document patient performance, reporting progress or concerns to the supervising PT.
Educate patients and families on home exercise routines and safe movement strategies.
Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient responses.
Ensure therapy areas and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Promote a positive, encouraging environment to support patient motivation and progress.

Qualifications:

Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
Experience in rehabilitation or therapy settings preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and support patients with compassion and professionalism.
