Physical Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapy services and help patients regain strength, mobility, and function. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, and monitor patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Physical Therapist in providing treatment to patients according to established care plans.

Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities.

Observe and report patient progress, responses, and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques and home care programs.

Ensure patient safety and comfort during all therapy sessions.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and activities performed.

Set up and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to support coordinated and effective patient care.
Qualifications:

Current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.

Previous experience in a rehabilitation, hospital, or outpatient setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills.

Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and work effectively under supervision.

Compassionate and supportive approach toward patients of all ages and conditions.
Pay Rate
$16.50 - $16.50/hour
