Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support the provision of high-quality rehabilitative care to patients with physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to assist in the evaluation, implementation, and monitoring of patient treatment plans, helping patients improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Assist Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients with physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities.

Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists to improve patient mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.

Conduct therapeutic exercises and assist with manual therapy techniques under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Monitor patients’ progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Educate patients on proper use of assistive devices, exercises, and techniques for improving mobility and preventing further injury.

Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and any modifications to the treatment plan.

Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.

Assist with patient transfers, mobility training, and activities of daily living when necessary.

Stay updated on current physical therapy practices and techniques.
Qualifications:

Current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.

Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Prior experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with a Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals.

Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and physical exercises.
Pay Rate
$16.50 - $16.50/hour
