Job Title: Director of Rehabilitation

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Rehabilitation to lead and oversee the operations of our rehabilitation department. The Director will ensure high-quality patient care, manage therapy staff, develop departmental policies, and collaborate with leadership to enhance service delivery across physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and related services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology

  • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental goals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate therapy staff, including therapists and assistants, fostering professional development and a positive work environment

  • Ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes through effective clinical oversight and program development

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, administration, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment to ensure efficiency and quality of services

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, patient satisfaction, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement

  • Oversee staff scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation and licensing requirements

  • Stay current with advancements in rehabilitation therapies and industry best practices to maintain a competitive and effective department

Qualifications:

  • Current and active license in relevant therapy discipline (PT, OT, or SLP) preferred

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Rehabilitation, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in rehabilitation management or clinical leadership

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and improve operational efficiency

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and healthcare accreditation standards

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in rehabilitation services

Pay Rate
$16.50 - $16.50/hour
