Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the delivery of quality rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA will assist in implementing treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills while promoting independence and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Occupational Therapist in carrying out individualized treatment plans.

Provide therapeutic activities to enhance patients’ functional abilities and independence.

Observe and document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.

Educate patients and families on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home care routines.

Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment while motivating patients throughout sessions.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to support comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:

Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Current and active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
-
Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting preferred.
Pay Rate
$16.50 - $16.50/hour
