OR – Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The OR RN will support surgical teams, ensure patient safety, maintain sterile environments, and deliver compassionate care throughout the operative process.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assess patients pre-operatively and verify readiness for surgery.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams during procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and responses throughout the perioperative period.
• Manage surgical documentation, safety checklists, and accurate charting.
• Support post-operative recovery, patient stabilization, and handoff communication.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to ensure efficient, safe workflow.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum one year of recent operating room or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred depending on surgical setting.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical procedures, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-acuity surgical environments.
Pay Rate
$74.19 - $79.07/hour
