Job Description:
Occupational Therapist (OT)
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitative services aimed at improving functional independence, daily living skills, and quality of life. The OT will assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to physical, cognitive, and developmental goals.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patient abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs through standardized assessments.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans to improve functional mobility, ADLs, and independence.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and adaptive strategies based on patient goals.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and functional training.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and update plans of care as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred).
• Experience in rehabilitation, outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
You may be a good fit if you are:
· A licensed Occupational Therapist within the state of Nebraska
· American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire
· A desire to improve your clinical skills, and to develop clinical expertise in at least one area of practice
