Job Description:
Good morning,
We seek a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
While we prefer candidates who are Spanish-speaking, we will provide a translator if this is not possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as per the physician’s orders and safety protocols.
Operate specialized equipment to perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including SPECT, PET scans, and other diagnostic tests.
Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
Monitor patient safety throughout the procedure, minimizing radiation exposure according to safety guidelines.
Record and analyze images, ensuring the quality and accuracy of diagnostic results.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret results.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with safety regulations.
Stay updated with advancements in nuclear medicine and participate in relevant training.
