Nuclear Medicine Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate records while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET and other diagnostic scans, as ordered
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self
• Document procedures, patient information, and imaging results accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members to support patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant imaging environment
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Active and unrestricted Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or certification
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification preferred or required per practice standards
• Experience in nuclear medicine imaging in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging techniques, and radiation safety
• Excellent attention to detail, technical skills, and patient-care abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Pay Rate
$81.81 - $86.69/hour
