Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality rehabilitative care for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. The PTA will follow treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist, assist patients with therapeutic exercises, and promote functional improvement and mobility in a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient performance, progress, and response to therapy interventions.
• Assist with gait training, strength building, and pain-reduction techniques.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, observations, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with therapists and healthcare team members to support coordinated care.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Experience in outpatient, acute, SNF, or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, functional mobility, and patient safety.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to patient-centered rehabilitation.
Pay Rate
$33.79 - $38.67/hour
