Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate LVN/LPN to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. The LVN/LPN will support patients with a wide range of medical conditions, assist with treatments, administer medications, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the nursing and medical team to promote safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections safely and accurately as prescribed
• Monitor vital signs, patient conditions, and changes in status, reporting findings to the supervising RN or provider
• Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and routine nursing procedures
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and activities of daily living as needed
• Document all nursing care accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and basic health instructions
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted LVN or LPN license
• Experience in medical-surgical, acute care, or hospital settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of basic nursing practices, medication administration, and patient monitoring
• BLS certification required
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care
Pay Rate
$34.38 - $39.25/hour
