Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN ensures patient comfort, safety, and well-being by assisting with daily care needs, monitoring health conditions, and supporting the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.

Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

Administer medications as prescribed and ensure accurate documentation.

Assist physicians and RNs with treatments, procedures, and examinations.

Observe patients for changes in condition and report concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as required.

Perform wound care, catheter care, and other basic nursing procedures.

Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Support patient education regarding medications, treatments, and care plans.
Qualifications:

Valid and active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred or required).

Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism.
Pay Rate
$35.92 - $39.12/hour
