Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN supports patient health, comfort, and safety by performing clinical tasks, monitoring patient conditions, and assisting with daily care in accordance with established standards and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care, including vital signs, wound care, and personal care
Administer medications and treatments as permitted by scope of practice
Observe, monitor, and report changes in patient condition to supervising staff
Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility
Collect specimens and perform routine clinical procedures
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies
Support patient education and discharge planning as appropriate
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications & Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license (as applicable)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Knowledge of basic nursing principles and clinical skills
Ability to work under supervision in a clinical environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems

Pay Rate
$25.70 - $30.58/hour
