Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Nursing Home
Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care or nursing home setting. The LPN works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician and ensures the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents through skilled clinical care and compassionate support.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and basic treatments.

Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes to the RN or physician.

Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement resident care plans.

Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards.

Support residents and their families with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:

Active LPN license in the state of employment.

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (nursing home or long-term care preferred).

Current BLS/CPR certification.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Compassionate attitude toward elderly and long-term care residents.
Pay Rate
$24.57 - $27.77/hour
