Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Nursing Home
Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care to residents in a nursing home under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN helps ensure residents receive quality care, comfort, and safety in a supportive environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide daily nursing care and assistance to residents.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Observe and report any changes in residents’ health conditions to the RN or physician.

Document care, medications, and resident observations accurately.

Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.

Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
Qualifications:

Current LPN license.

Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.

CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Compassionate, dependable, and able to work as part of a team.
Pay Rate
$24.57 - $27.77/hour
