The Interventional Technologist is responsible for performing a wide range of interventional and neuro-interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires advanced technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care. The technologist will support all aspects of IR procedures, including circulating, assisting with sterile scrubbing, and operating imaging equipment.

This is a 13-week assignment with an expected start date of 12/16, working 8-hour day shifts (8a–4p) with the option of 4x10s. The position includes weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities.

Job Duties:

Perform Interventional Radiology (IR) and Neuro-Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) procedures in accordance with physician directions and department protocols.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies; ensure all instruments are sterile and functioning properly.
Circulate and assist with scrubbing during IR procedures, including neurovascular cases.
Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic and procedural images.
Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition throughout procedures.
Follow all radiation safety standards and maintain proper documentation.
Collaborate with the IR team to ensure efficient workflow and timely patient care.
Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and post-procedure care as required.
Participate in on-call rotation: weeknights and weekends, approx. 10 days of call per month.
Maintain accurate records, patient charts, and procedure logs.
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control practices, and professional standards at all times.

Pay Rate
$79.84 - $83.04/hour
