General job duties. Types of procedures required. Echoes, Stress Echo, ABI, Arterial Duplex (Upper and Lower), Venous Duplex (Upper and Lower), Carotid Duplex, EKGs, Treadmill for Nuclear Medicine testing (Lexi)
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) EPIC, MUSE, Xcelera, Word, Client treadmill, and Phillips EPIQ CVx Ultrasound
Required skills and minimum years of experience. Must have experience and be self-sufficient.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. RVT, RDCS, BLS
Will the employee ever work alone? Employee will ALWAYS work alone but can call Sioux Falls technologist with occasional questions.
Dress Code: Gray Scrubs In the past we have allowed techs to wear black scrubs if they did not want to purchase new gray scrubs
Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Single person department, we will try to schedule so that the temp tech can have 1 week training/orientation
